Hi, I'm George, founder of Festi. I started this after planning three of my own events and realising how few Greek vendors you actually get to see.
My story
I'm a husband, a father of two, and the founder of Festi.
This idea didn't come from a business plan. It came from three of the most important days of my life — my wedding and my two children's christenings — and the months of frustration that came before each one.
I wanted what every Greek family wants: the right venue, the right photographer, the right florist, the right caterer. People who'd treat the day with the love it deserved.
What I got instead was a maze.
What I found
Three options. That's all you really have when you start planning a wedding or a christening in Greece today.
All three are gatekept. You see about 10% of what's actually out there. The talented small studio nobody mentioned. The florist who just started. The vineyard that won't pay an agency. They stay invisible — even though they might be exactly what you wanted.
I lived this three times. By the third christening, I knew this wasn't bad luck. It was the market.
